DARTMOUTH COLLEGE NORTH CAMPUS
The north campus master plan focused on siting a new dining hall, two residential buildings, and a new academic building and connecting them along a central pedestrian spine to a new amphitheater at the southern edge of campus and the Baker Berry Library.
The central walkway negotiates considerable grade change from south campus to north, creating a pedestrian-friendly, experiential walk wide enough for service vehicles and for providing social areas and bike parking along its edges. The master plan seeks to knit the campus together along a student-centered spine.
